Kim is the Ecology Technician in the School of Biological Sciences, supporting both research and teaching across the ecology space. She has an MSc in stream restoration from UC and brings a strong background in ecological field methods and restoration science to her role.
You’ll often find Kim out in the field collecting data, assisting with the establishment and maintenance of research projects, and supporting long term monitoring. She also manages a busy research laboratory and contributes to undergraduate field courses, helping students build practical skills and confidence outdoors.
Kim plays an active role in field health and safety planning and delivery, ensuring that staff and students can work safely and effectively in a wide range of environments.
